Moving & Growing

Hi everyone , The Buckley's are ever changing that is for sure ! We have placed our house on the market and living in our fish bowl home with everything needing to be super clean .~smile~
The difficult thing about selling is that we love this home and have many great memories here .
We need to get closer to work and move off the island that we live on . We also need a house that will work better for Luke .
Our daughter just signed a lease for a very cute apartment and will move in with her room mate at the end of the summer . She will resume classes toward her nursing degree . Im so proud of her and will really miss her being home at night . She is so busy and ready to spread her wings . I know that God has watch over her and can care for her far more that we can .
A funny thing happens when you have a child that needs adaptive equipment in the daily lives ! We had just reached a point where we felt we had everything covered ! We had the stander, sitters, walkers, crawlers .... The list is endless . We just learned that Luke will grow out of everything once we think we are done ordering and researching .~smile~ I would like to say we are catching on but you never know what is right around the corner ..... ~smile~
Thank God we are in the times that children's equipment is being made and available in the US.
Luke and I are off to the pool this morning and this Friday hippo therapy resumes ! Luke will love to see Zorro at Little Bit riding Center .
I hope you are all well and for anyone reading this that is looking for information on CP , Infantile Spasms or equipment options please feel free to email us . I know the journey is scary in the beginning and we should help one another through the tough times and rejoice in the good time . No matter how dark things seem there is always light showing you the way .... God has a really big flash light !

Welcome

Hi , Wow it is finally summer time here in the Northwest . Luke is loving being outside and all the fun a little three year old boy can have .... Dirty knees and loving it ! He loves to lay in the grass .
Luke is attending the summer session at Lil Bit riding center hippo therapy program and rides Zorro . It is great to feel the strength increase Luke's core from riding Zorro .
We are trying to swim daily at our local pool with Luke's favorite girl in the whole world May May. Luke is a fish boy... He loves the water and walks everywhere with assistance .
My husband Bruce is working a great job but it is a ferry ride and bus ride to and from work so we are looking at moving . We are in search for a home that is going to work for Luke as he gets older .
Our daughter Stephanie is 19 and a nursing student in Bellingham ,WA . She will be moving into her own apartment this summer and is very excited... I will miss her so much but I enjoy watching her grow into such a lovely woman . She is blessed and gifted for sure . Her hands will help heal .
I try and keep my skills up with working some weekends as a nurse at a wisdom filled center . I love to work but a new mission if to make sure that Luke is growing and making new dreams come true . The dreams that we have and share for Luke are that he will live a love filled life and enjoy what God put him here to do .
We hope to post blogs as time allows and keep in touch with other families that can relate as well as our family and friends .
Be blessed and know that God is good all the time . Ronda & Luke
